A Narrative of Urban Underground Pipeline System Disasters in China in 2021: Spatial and Temporal Distribution, Causal Analysis, and Response Strategies

In recent years, there have been frequent disasters and accidents in the underground pipeline system of Chinese cities, posing a continuous threat to safety life property public order urban operations. This article uses statistical data on spatiotemporal distribution major various provinces China 2021. By using Pearson’s correlation coefficient regression analysis, causal analysis model for is constructed, between accident rate economic social indicators analyzed. From it has found that coefficients gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, density built-up area, reach −0.4019 −0.4275, respectively, showing negative correlation. Further, results show shows decreasing trend as capita GDP pipelines areas increase. Among them, power function fitting accounts 48.10% accidents, whereas area 58.27% these accidents.
